Laser sealing welding of sensor metal shell is the most advanced processing method at present. It is mainly based on laser welding and has the following characteristics:
(1) High aspect ratio. The weld is deep and narrow, and the weld is bright and beautiful.
(2) Minimum heat input. Due to the high power density, the melting process is very fast, the input heat of the workpiece is very low, the welding speed is fast, the thermal deformation is small, and the heat affected zone is small.
(3) High compactness. In the process of weld formation, the molten pool is constantly stirred, and the gas is easy to come out, resulting in the formation of non porous penetration weld. The high cooling rate after welding is easy to refine the weld structure, and the weld strength, toughness and comprehensive performance are high.
(4) Strong weld. High temperature heat source and full absorption of non-metallic components produce purification effect, reduce the content of impurities, change the size of inclusions and their distribution in the molten pool, no electrode or filler wire is required in the welding process, and the melting zone is less polluted, so that the strength and toughness of the weld are at least equal to or even higher than the parent metal. (5) Precise control. Because the focus spot is very small, the weld can be positioned with high precision, and the beam is easy to transmit and control. There is no need to change the welding torch and nozzle frequently, which significantly reduces the auxiliary time of shutdown, has high production efficiency, and the light has no inertia. It can also stop and restart at high speed. Complex components can be welded with self-control beam moving technology.
(6) Welding process in non-contact and atmospheric environment. Because the energy comes from the laser, the workpiece has no physical contact, so no force is applied to the workpiece. In addition, magnetism and air have no effect on laser.
(7) Due to the low average heat input and high machining accuracy, the reprocessing cost can be reduced. In addition, the operation cost of laser welding is low, which can reduce the workpiece cost.
(8) It is easy to realize automation, and can effectively control the beam intensity and fine positioning.
